Dallas Zoning Reform Proposal
Published: June 13, 2025
The City of Dallas has been working on a reform of the city’s zoning code to make it more understandable and more user friendly. They say the last time a comprehensive look at these issues was in the mid-1960’s.
They are now ready to present their ideas and will hold community meetings all over the city during the week of June 22-27. The local meeting for this purpose will be at Churchill Park Recreation Center, Thursday, June 26 at 6-7pm. The reform proposals, if accepted by the City Council, would apply city-wide. There is no current re-zoning project that will be discussed at this meeting.
All who are interested in this are invited to attend. It’s a quick walk.
