Gather at a central home for drinks and appetizers, then at another home for a catered dinner and (possibly) quieter conversation. It’s The Downs of Hillcrest Year End Extravaganza. Reservations are required to join the festivities, and there’s a charge, but it’s reasonable.

Calling all goblins, superheroes and robots, or whatever you are this year. Bring your family and start with pizza at 5pm, then share your magic with the neighborhood at multiple Trick or Treat sites. Will there be a scavenger hunt as well? Details via Punchbowl.
